If this is an emergency or the above numbers don’t work.
Call Maryland Department of the Environment or (866) 633-4686.
These would be:
- sewer overflows
- stream looks like paint or other chemicals have been dumped
- fish kills
- any smells of gas or flammable substances
When reporting a Sewer Overflow,
- remember to send your Service Request number to HRWA
- give them detailed directions and location
- if you can, meet them in the field to show them or have HRWA meet them
- report the overflow to HRWA
- report the overflow to the Maryland Department of the Environment.
